Reliable protection against damage to water and sewer lines with a
Pipe heating with safety plug and thermostat
- size 8m (96 watts) with thermostat
A simple and inexpensive way to protect your water and sewer lines from freezing and thus to avoid high financial stress and anger, is the use of a pipe heating. Our heating circuits are designed for easy and safe application designed specifically for this frost protection.
- for connection to 230V/50Hz grid
- prefabricated ready to plug in heating element for fast and easy installation
- high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for long life
Our pipe trace heaters are packaged ready to use. The connection to the mains via a safety plug, and is thus optimally aligned to the requirements of safe use. The heating element is internally equipped with a metal braid, which is about the grounding plug on the electrical protection scheme (RCD) can be included.
Assembly:
Before installing the pipe heater, please clean the surface of the pipe. Route the heater as possible below the pipe and secure it with tape approximately every 20cm or cable ties. A wrap around the pipe with the heating cable is possible (also sample in surplus length), but not necessary. Please note a minimum bend radius of 25mm! To insulate the water pipes after installation is possible and saves energy. After installation, the heating by plugging into an outlet operable.
